NONSENSE TO YOU MAKES PERFECT SENSE TO ME (ALBA FLORES)

 



I think these are very funny and interesting videos. Two babies seem to be communicating but it is not possible for them to use any language yet.
I will use this activity with my students from 3ºESO. First I will show them a still from the videos to ask them what they think will happen. After that, we will watch the videos, and I will ask them to write a script that could match the babies' gestures, expresions and body language.

Once this is done, the most complex part comes, they have to edit the videos muting them and adding their own voices.

The final result will be amazing and they will surely enjoy it a lot. This activity will not only allow them to practice their oral and written skills, but it also will have a great impact on their imaginative power. Furthermore, they will have a great chance to use ITCs!

The only downside of this project is that it may take a lot of time, so we need to plan it long term.

(I can't paste the poster, but it is Halloween theme with the title and four words related to the video: baby boy, halloween, tradition, mummy, problem) If will guide my students with questions, so that they can start talking and make predictions on the story . For example What Halloween tradition could it be?
