THE PURPOSE OF A CAMERA IS TO CAPTURE MEMORIES, NOT REPLACE THEM (SUSANA GARCÍA)

 Students' level: B1/B2.

Main Objectives:

To use Narrative tenses, although grammar is not the main objective of this exercise.

To review adjectives about feelings (-ing/-ed)/ and social media vocabulary.

To improve students' listening and writing skills

Activities:

First, we will review the vocabulary students know about social media to depart from students' previous knowledge (e.g. the teacher writes some words that they know and we try to define them together too)

Then, they have to say how social media makes them feel along a regular day using some adjectives provided by the teacher ( some adjectives are written on the blackboard just to review the differences in meaning depending on the ending of an adjective: bored/boring, stressful/stressed; excited/ing...)

Ater that, students will talk about social media and pros and cons about using social media on a daily basis. I will write their ideas on the board.

Finally, students will watch the video and will talk about how many of their ideas are represented in the video they have just watched.

Afterwards, to practice writing, they will describe any of the stories they have just watched; they have to create sentences of 15 words to describe them and they have to use some of the vocabulary previously seen. The teacher will check info and see possible mistakes or good narrative ideas/expressions
