This meme is great as it works for all levels depending on your objectives. It might work better from A2 onwards, but as long as the vocabulary is explained, it can also be used with lower levels.
First, we will review vocabulary regarding Covid, pandemic, latest news, etc, also what's a meme, their use, etc.
Afterards, students will be shown this meme and we will discuss it taking into account their impressions, sense of humour, and opinions;
If they don't understand some words, I'll explain these words to them .
Some of the techniques involved are: seeding, explaining, inferring.
Finally, after their discussion about this meme, I will ask students to give me feedback of this activity, to see what they thought of it, and before the session finishes I will also give them time to share their favourite meme with the rest of the class while explaining why they like them and why they have chosen that meme to show to their rest of their classmates. .
