This is an activity design for B2 students. Firstly, before showing the image, I would ask some questions as a warm up, such as

Do you like fruit? What´s your favourite fruit? Why do you like it? How often do you eat it? What does it look like?...

Then, I will write on the board the following sentence: “If you like fruit, you can be an artist”

As this is a striking sentence, I will ask my students to work in pairs and try to find connections between the concept of art and fruit. After some minutes, I will ask students to share their ideas with the rest of the class and I will write those ideas on the board.

Then, I'll show them the article and we will focus on the first image with the girl taking a selfie and the banana. While looking at the image students will have to make up sentences following the structure "I wonder":
I wonder if the banana is real...
I wonder why the banana is on the wall
I wonder who put it there
I wonder where the wall is
I wonder when it was put there
I wonder why the girl is taking a selfie with the banana...

After this, the teacher will explain the story behind the image: why the banana is taped on the wall, where it was , who did it.. but students will try to guess what happened in the end and then we will see if their predictions were right.

After working on the image, as a follow up activity, we can link this exercise to writing, and I will ask students to write their opinion about the following question "Can anyone be an artist?"
